Do not worry, most of the meals will be fresh vegetable based with some exceptions of meat in certain places. Our guide will tailor your meals according to your needs.
According to your riding style, some cycling gear is needed, especially the helmet and raining gear. The weather condition in the mountains might change unexpectedly during autumn, so having them in your pannier during certain days would be a wise choice.
Our tours are provided from April till October. Every month has its own uniqueness depending on the season. So the simple answer is, it depends whether you want to cycle at a cooler temperature during spring and autumn while still enjoying the beach, or you prefer the hot breeze and the excellent weather conditions of summer. The choice is yours!

All our guides will speak fluent English, Albanian and Italian. So communication and understanding will be fairly easy.
We do not provide medical insurance so please make sure you contact your country for further private insurance information. In case of minor injuries, our guides are trained as first aid responders and will advise on further cycling.
It’s very easy. You will be in the support van during the day enjoying the scenery and the awesome music that our driver will carefully select according to your preferences.
Our basic prices are calculated for 2 people in one room. For further information please email us so we arrange a single room for you with an additional fee
For the most part yes, especially the spring water coming from the mountains. Your guide will brief you every night about certain cities where it is safer not to drink from the tap.
If you are a citizen coming from Europe, UK, New Zealand, Australia, Canada or the US you do not need a visa. For other countries, contact your local travel agent.
It is very simple, send us an email on which of the available dates you want to visit, type of room, vegetarian/vegan or any allergies and the size of bike that you would prefer. We will get back to you with additional information and prices.
Arrival will be at Tirana International Airport, so check with your travel agent or online booking. In case you are having trouble with your departure destination, email us and we will try to find the best solution possible for you.
Not necessarily, our guides have different styles of leading, but we always encourage our tourists to cycle at their own pace, take pictures and never rush to destinations.
If you are enable to come for reasons that do not depend on us, than this is our refund policies:
Cancellation notice between 15-30 days prior to the trip – 70% of the total amount
Cancellation notice 15 days of less – 50% of the total amount
No show – 0% of the total amount
Our support van will follow you and the leader the whole time. All your luggage and extra items will be stored in the van and will be delivered to you upon arrival at the destination.

We always recommend having something extra in your pannier, but in our trips, the guide collects a kitty to be used for the purchase of different snacks that will be used during the coffee breaks. In that case you can always have something extra on you the whole time.
There will be specific places to exchange money, usually in the cities. Make sure you ask the guide in advance and he will give you the proper information about exchange locations.
Paved roads have been a trademark for Albania in the last 15 years, so during the tour you will expect nothing short of good tarmac throughout. There will be certain segments that have not gotten the proper attention since the fall of communism, especially in some rural areas, but you will always be briefed by the leader a day in advance on what to expect.
Usually our tour has a minimum of 6 people to a maximum of 20. Our chosen hotels vary from 4 star hotels near the Ionian to Guesthouses in more remote areas. They have been chosen carefully to meet the standards of proper service and hospitality.
